Free Appliance RecallChek
The inspector will take down the model numbers of the major appliances such as the water heater, AC, and dishwasher. They will run them through a check to be sure none of the appliances have been recalled. They will email you a copy of the appliances. If there are any recalled, in most cases the manufacture will replace or repair the appliance at no additional cost, after the home has been closed on.
Thermal Imaging, Moisture Meters, & Gas Leak Detectors
We use advanced technology such as thermal imaging, moisture meters, and gas leak detectors on your new home to help give you a thorough home inspection. Thermal imaging, when used under certain conditions, may detect areas of concern such as moisture leaks in finished basement walls, leaking plumbing from and upstairs bathroom when there is no staining visible, checking heat an air coming from vents, and many other items. Moisture meters may confirm whether stains are active leaks or dried stains from a previous or inactive leak. Also, the use of gas detectors may determine if there are leaks in the gas supply lines visible to the appliances such as furnaces, water heaters, or ovens.
Report Delivery
Most companies you have to wait several days before the report is sent to you. We complete and go over our reports with you on site. A digital copy is emailed out to you the same day and can be viewed directly on your phone.
