InterNACHI is the largest home inspector organization out there. InterNACHI doesn't brand or advertise itself to Realtor's like other organizations do. InterNACHI is more concerned about making sure the home inspector is more educated than others by offering the most free advanced education of new inspection techniques with the ever changing construction of homes. This is important as InterNACHI inspectors will take more continuing education courses than inspectors in other organizations because of the free courses they offer. Also, InterNACHI's requirements are higher than the others, as they require the most continuing education per year (24 hours), retesting and passing their national exam every year as a condition of membership (other organizations only require a test once in their life), required advanced courses (other's let you take whatever you want, so they can take the cheaper classes to get by). What this means for you: more education, more knowledge, more requirements equals a better home inspection!
